Hi, I'm Mary! Welcome to Mary's Southern Sugar!

Y'all! Long story short? Okay, So…I was born and raised in Western Kentucky and had lived there my entire life until this year when I married the love of my life and moved to Michigan! let me tell you I have absolutely fallen head over heels in love with this beautiful state and the people in it!

Baking is my passion and has been for as long as I can remember! So I took some time and classes to learn the science behind baking. Trust me, there is a science behind baking, especially when you're baking 5 to 6 ounce cookies! Who knew that I would grow to love science?! But I do, and it gave me the ability to create new recipes while perfecting my old ones to ensure the perfect bake for my BIG Bakery Style Cookies and a few other things I'll be adding to my menu in the future! For now find all my treats here on my website but SOON you will see me out and about in Grand Haven, Michigan and surrounding areas in my MOBILE BAKERY!!!!
